It's a blog! What else do you do with a blog, but ramble on about things that you might think are witty and insightful, but the rest of the world find totally mundane!

The Magic Roundabout pt2.

OK, i'm officially ferkin' confused. I just had a phone call from last week's job interview- the one I got an email from saying "thanks, but, no thanks". They were checking the contact details for my referees. Huh? I was too confused at that point to go "what the fuck?" So i'm still in the running for that job - it appears that the email was a mistake. Yep, it's a very magical little roundabout. On top of that I have another interview at the "Australian automotive icon" in just over two hours. Wah.
I think this weekend may require some drinking to be done. Hmmm.

Heya, good luck with the interviews :)

I have just joined the elite club of those people screwed over by Miele.

Last week I digitized their logo for a guy from the Brisbane office. I stitched it onto a couple of shirts for him and he wore it to some conference/meeting thing. At this conference/meeting thing the corporate big wigs saw my verison of their logo and 'loved it'! They thought it was better than their present embroidery and decided to have all their future embroidery done with EmbroidMe. The catch - they don't want to have it done at our store, they want to get it done in Melbourne. So now I have to send my logo down to Melbourne so they can get all their work done down there! No bonuses or anything for me which I would have received should they have gotten their uniforms done with us. I knew I should have botched their shirts the first time the ordered them. Big jerks!

Down with them. I think I deserve some shiney new kitchen appliances for this.

Yep, bloody germans! The head office there is a power unto itself. The only good ideas are the ones they can claim as their own!
